Dahlberg means valley hill in Swedish. We journey through valleys and over hills in our lives, trying to make sense of our existence. God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to lead us on the narrow path that leads to life. I write to point to the hope we have in dedicating our lives to following God’s guidance through the valleys and over the hills.
Woody Dahlberg
Woody Dahlberg began his writing career in fifth grade when a poem he wrote for school was published in a national youth publication. When he attended Bethel College, he concentrated in art and Christian studies. After college, he felt called to a profession in graphic design, but his interest in writing continued as he studied for a master’s degree in communication from Wheaton College. He worked as a graphic designer and photographer at Bethel University until he retired after more than thirty-two years.
Woody has always enjoyed observing his world, reflecting on life through photography, graphic design, art, and writing. He says, “I write to point to the hope we have as we travel through the valleys and over the hills of life. Book Pursued reflects on my own search for meaning, truth, and trust in God as I have journeyed through life.” He began handwriting the “Pursued by Evil, Called by God” series in a notebook on a return flight from Kenya.
