My Glass

Glass half full

Reflections on giving
(from a mission trip in 1993)

by Woody Dahlberg

Millions need a glass of water in Jesus’ name,
but I have only one glass to give,
and I must keep filling it to give it out,
one glass at a time.
If I try to do more
we all go thirsty.
If I do not give it out,
the millions will go thirsty,
and the thirst of the world will rise up to judge me.
